For sale beautiful awesome shooting rifle Doc White built this for me back in 2012 but I made some changes including a complete refinish of the stock the original was not the greatest IMO but the new finish looks and feels excellent. I also had some professional engraving done on all the brass and lock. I used to shoot silhouette matches with this rifle and won many times. My load was 40- 50-60 grains Swiss 2f depending on yardage. The gun is pretty much mint with some handling wear on the barrel flats the bore is pristine. 2600.00 shipped prefer money order

That’s a beautiful rifle , many original Jägers have wooden trigger guards they come and go at auctions like this one 1830 first photo the second , which I prefer had a steel one

Yes I've seen the wood ones not sure how I feel about them I guess as long as they don't break they are nice. Maybe they didn't have much metal to use at the time so they just used wood.
Thanks !!

I just wanted one as I did not have one, I’ll have to be careful with it, I bought it on the rebound as I lost the nice jager in the previous auction
