Another nice rifle built by Jerry in .50. It is pristine, and don't think it has even been shot. I wish I knew the year he built it

Some more details on this rifle

My guess on Getz barrel was correct, and build quality as expected. This rifle has not ever been used, not a mark anywhere. The sights haven't been touched, rear notch still needs cut to see front sight. Bedded in breech area, under lugs all slotted etc... Whoever bought it, just put it away in a storage case

I was thinking maybe the case it shipped in had the original box, and it does.

Looking over the box I found the original shipping label that was covered over. The case was shipped to Jerry from Brownells on Sep 4 '82. So I am assuming Jerry built this rile back then. Why it was never used remains a mystery
