Finally Finished my Jim Kibler build. Many Thanks to kevin Dougherty for his help! Havnt got to shoot it yet , might try to go out later today. Id say the bark inclusion in the Forstock came out beutifully, it really blends quite nicely.
The gun is .54cal, 9lbs on the nose

Very, very nice. I know those Kibler kits take a lot of work out of the process, but one still has to do a good finishing job to have the best possible result and you certainly did all of that! I'm sure you'll enjoy that gun for many, many years to come. Congrats!

well, I ahd to build a time machine in my hottub, and drink excessivley from whiskey bottles.... and I was magically swirled down the drain back to 1740. where I buried the brass parts...then I time warped back to present day and dug them up. Actually I used brass aging solution. its quite simple. put it on rather thick, let it dry thorughly ... then buff it back with a red or grey 3m srubby pad. thats about it
