For those of you with jug choked smoothbores,...

I'm wondering what the effect is, postive or negative, on having a jug choked smoothbore.
It will obviously tighten up shot patterns but what happens to the roundball groups? 25 yrds? 50 yrds? 100?

From the theory of how a jug choke works I'm thinking it MAY make a roundball pull in one direction before leaving the barrel,...which would effect the accuracy.

Thanks in advance.

No real experience. But from previous posts it seems accuracy is O.K. after jug choking (JC).

RB will have done this with his JC barrels and will give a "hands on" response I'm sure. You also might do a search as I think this has been discussed before.
