Have a model 1853 Enfield I used to shoot but needs a new tang screw and will not shoot it again until I make a replica. Shot it last about 40 yrs ago.
I clicked the replica box but strictly speaking, any hand made muzzle loader is "original" even if it was made last week. They never stopped building front stuffers in some parts of our great Republic.
I have a .69 caliber musket made in the year 1838, finally retired it a few years ago...
