Just getting back into muzzle loading and it has been a while so I do not knwo what is new or what has changed as far as powders flints etc. I just got a Flint DP Frontier .50cal 39"long barrel. I use to shoot a friends Hatfield .50 cal and we loaded a few gr. of ffffg in the pan and 40-80gr of fffg load pushing a patch/round ball. Is this a good starting point for the DP Frontier? ::
