Just recieved this morning sat down and have all parts flush and working
I do have a question how well do these barrels take to bluing
Any help please

This a TC barrel from a kit. I suspect yours is simular but it took the blueing very well.

I used 220 grit sand paper on an orbital sander and get the steel very smooth and shiny. But don't go too far, just enough! I use 'Super Blue' from Birchwood Casey. It may help if you heat the barrel with a hair dryer. I don't know for sure because I have had mixed results. Anyway this is many coats burnished with 0000 steel wool in between and cleaned with acetone.
