Was in the hospital last week so didn't get to shoot. Went this morning and shot my Kentucky pistol I made from a kit and was pretty happy with the results. One handed off hand at about 25 ft.

Quite "peeking",
Think more about follow through instead of where the ball hit the target,,
, and that group should move more towards center.
Good group for single off hand with that pistol.

"shot my Kentucky pistol I made from a kit"

There is something incredibly special and ecstasy-producing about shooting a firearm you have built with your very own trembling hands. Every assembled component, sanded and finished surface, blued piece of metal, and fitted part has occupied your mind and hands, and absorbed some of your precious few hours and days here on Earth. When it all comes together and ACTUALLY WORKS it is an amazing feeling. I feel both grateful and humbled by the whole experience.

 Absolutely, and things can hardly get more exhilarating than sparking a few shots with hand crafted propellant in your very own hand crafted smokepole. :stir:

Pguy, could you share the numerical details behind your kentucky pistol?
