Fitting! It is a very good photo. It has the appearance of being the work of a professional commercial photographer. Congratulations.
Really?Congrats! Nice photo of a nice gun. Now.... are they gonna pay you anything for this?
Why not? If they had commissioned a professional photographer to make that photograph, it would have cost them hundreds at least. Once upon a time, I was a newspaper photographer and I saw some photographs sell for incredible amounts of money. I only wish that I'd been savvy enough back then to try to sell my picture of Ronald Reagan with a woman handing him a dog.Really?
This has no context for me. Are you responding to another post I haven't read? Maybe you wanna use the "reply" button in the message you are responding to. It will even offer an editable quote of the original message. Also, what is a "rift raft"?"They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). The price and the flint only help keep the riff raff away."
And just why do you think percussion shooters are rift raft?
That is rather tacky, rude and elitist.
Holy Moly, that is one of the best photos I have seen with a muzzie in the pick. No wonder why! No wonder, indeed! They are putting together a catalog and want to use my picture of my Colonial smoothbore rifle. Pretty excited about that! This is the picture they want to use.

They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). The price and the flint only help keep the riff raff away. If they had a percussion cap version, I probably would have bought one instead of the Traditions kit that I bought. Though lack of caps may make me rethink this move, need to find some kind of priming powder around me.Nice pic. From all the net chatter about them I wonder if they will be overrun with orders?

Or those of us without an extra couple thou around???Rift raft is a negative term for folks, lower class of folks.
Realistically, that would be me too.Or those of us without an extra couple thou around???
I think you mean "riff raff". As to the quote button, to err is human, to really foul things up requires a computer! They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). Go to page 2 and read.
I used the "quote" button and it did not work!

Congratulations.VERY NICE!! I can see why!
They are giving me credit they said they would put my name on it. I am happy with that! I am excited they want to use it!I presume you are proud of your rifle and the photo. You have good reason to be.
Late last century, I took some motorcycle photos at Daytona and posted them on an online forum. I spotted one of them a couple years ago because someone had grabbed it and copyrighted it. Ask for a photo credit, but enjoy the honour either way. Congratulations.
