Good to see they’re getting close to completion. The relief carving on the tang and sideplate is a nice surprise, and the barrel contour looks great.

Gonna be a beautiful gun! Nice to see the barrel wall isn't all thick and chunky. It should balance well.

Also noted on that original, a REAR SIGHT.

Yes, noticed that right off. It seems like something that may have been added by a subsequent owner. Maybe the ridge was incorporated by the maker to allow it to be added by the user in accord with how it shot.

I doubt it will be on the Kibler but if something could be added to allow the owner to do it Maybe it would appeal to ball shooters.

HA HA , a pistol Jim will probably need about twenty years before he get's a pistol in production ?? But I will definitely buy one if he does. I'm not as interested in the Fowler as I am a Hawken rifle but I'm sure it will be classic Kibler quality If I get one it will just be for something to work on and hang on the wall.

Yeah, me too. And will they have the same external dimensions. If so, the overall weight of the 20 might be greater. Not sure if I'm a potential owner but if I do weaken it will be for the 16.

I noticed. I'm curious about it. I'm wondering if this be okay for patched ball. I know Jim Kibler said about round ball and shot. I'm excited

Thanks for the video Jim, was wondering what was going on with this Fowler. Looks like it’s gonna be a good one! I’m hoping for a Longer Barrel myself. Jim any idea on barrel length yet?

Initially I wasnt too interested, but I have to say after watching the video, he has grabbed my attention. I can certainly relate to the fowler more as a "fun gun" for wood walks/ small game hunting.

A fowler would be very nice and a pistol delightful but what I'd really like is a .54 swivel breech.

I'm not much of a kit gun guy. But watching every step Jim has to do. To bring this Fowler into production is amazing to me.
Must admit the Fowler is going to be a very nice gun for a lot of people indeed...
