Fresh off the building bench.
This one is a .45 caliber Southern Mountain Rifle (circa 1820's) built from a Jim Kibler lock, stock and furniture with a Green Mountain Barrel. The stock is the finest of American Black Walnut finished with my own proprietary blend of dutch varnish and 100% pure tung oil with a final coat of Renaissance microcrystalline wax. The entire stock, inside and outside is completely sealed from the elements. The rifle has the appearance of an old but well cared for family heirloom. It will be perfectly at home hunting in the worst of weather or displayed above your fireplace mantle. This rifle is for sale.

To all those folks interested in this rifle, yes it is still for sale. Please be patient with me. It's been one of those days and it's been many years since I've navigated on a "forum". I will be back tomorrow and we'll figure all this out. Until then, thank you for your patience and your kind replies. Here's the pricing on the gun.
$1675. Cash/check. $1725 Credit card. Prices include shipping lower 48 states.
THANK YOU!

I'm not sure how to PM on this forum yet so could we move the conversation to my email: [email protected] Thank you for your patience with me.

I would like to take a moment to say Thank You to all the folks for their courtesy, kind words, their guidance and encouragement on this first post of mine on the Muzzle Loading Forum. It pleases me to know that there still places like this and members who treat each other with respect and civility. With that being said, I am pleased to say that THE RIFLE IS SOLD. Thanks again to everyone and just so you know, there will be more Jim Kibler Southern Mountain Rifles to be listed here in the near future!
