I have been down the road of having the wrong twist on unmentionables. The conventional wisdom was certainly dead on with those.
Pretty much a whole different thing. Stabilizing bullets is repeatable scientifically proven "wisdom".

Stabilizing balls is pretty much made up of a broad range of opinions stated repeatedly and "proven" from one end to the other with little basis in factual evidence. I think it's accurate to say that slower twist rates are better for balls .

If Kibler decides to use a 1:48 I predict that those who purchase and shoot them will find them to be accurate guns.
