Trigger bow isn't large enough IMO.
I am going out to learn more about Gemmers.I like the iron vs brass hardware. Almost "gemmerish" me thinks.
Well…can we see a picture of your “Rawken”It looks absolutely nothing like the “Rawken” I offered to let him copy.
Oh well,,,,,,,,,
Well…can we see a picture of your “Rawken”
This is a Rawken…what is a Rawken?
I did something similar …it’s my “CVawken”….even the stock was from a walnut tree we cut down in Reno…too ugly to whittle down for a serious gun..Haven’t even shot it.Sadly, the “Rawken” no longer exists. But you can still see it in my post entitled The “Rawken” on October 31, 2023. It was a mix of TC Hawken and Renegade parts. Actually made a purty good gun. Since then, the parts have been needed to put together a TC Hawken and a TC Renegade.
That 45 will be heavy but it might appeal to customers in the eastern half of the country. The 50 will probably be on the heavy side too.He also teased that it would be .45, .50, .54 and .58. It doesn't look terrible (admittedly, I'm not a Hawken guy), but I still think it's going to be a club (heavy). We'll see.
Computer Generated Image.CGI ???
My comment on the trigger bow is based on the space between the front trigger and the bow. Looks like it could be a little tight getting a large finger or gloved finger in there. The picture is just a screenshot of the 3d models from our design software. The stock is still square in this image. As mentioned, there will be a video soon that will share a lot more details. I haven't figured up weights, but my guess is somewhere around 8.5# in 54 caliber.
They will not be made on the same CNC machine.I hope all you guys ordering your Hawkens don't delay fulfillment of the SMR I ordered.
Maybe so, but it's a club I'd like to join.He also teased that it would be .45, .50, .54 and .58. It doesn't look terrible (admittedly, I'm not a Hawken guy), but I still think it's going to be a club (heavy). We'll see.
