Anybody have a handle on Kibler kits current lead time for order fulfillment (posted Sep 2)? The website right now says "WAIT TIMES VARY". I'm thinking of a Woodsrunner for a winter project and wondering how far ahead I should order it. It would probably be .54 cal with the carved option in cherry. Thanks ....

I emailed them two weeks ago asking about a wood’s runner and they emailed back and said one week to a month. I placed my order for one a week ago. I also have a Fowler order placed at the end of July.

You could always think outside the box and call or email Kibler and ask about the specific gun you want.

When I've done that in the past for another kit it took a week to get an email reply which merely said "soon" and no return call from a telephone message. I posted here this way intentionally to get some actual recent customer experience from their end, not nebulous hopeful speculation from the Kibler end. Don't be such a snark. I'm not that stupid. Doing it this way IS "thinking outside the box" - from my POV anyway.

Not to derail but does anyone know if they go to friendship or have a representative there at the booth? I'd like to handle an SMR and Woodsrunner to see how they feel before I buy my next kit.

If the ready to ship ad reads "no issues", they aren't blems. Just an FYI about that section on their site. Mine was marked blem and to this day I see absolutely nothing wrong with it and I have a highly tuned "wood eye".

Mostly, some are complete unblemished kits, not sure if you can request a caliber change though.
We can often accommodate a caliber change, but it may delay shipment in some cases.

I think this is a great opportunity for folks to get a kit really fast and sometimes with a nice discount. Often the blemishes are inconsequential and no issue at all. As mentioned, we often send out email messages when new kits are added, so if interested signing up on our email list is a good thing.

Thanks

I just ordered a.54 Woodsrunner. It was ready to ship before I had my $$ together. I believe it was about 2 weeks. I received it last week. She's almost ready to take out on a powder burning date.
