How many of you guys have tried kik powder, and
if so what do you think of it, i have got hold of
7 pounds of the stuff, iwas told its the same as
goex, if you have used it tem me want you think
of it . :) . Thanks Boomm.

Kik is about all I use now, it's just as good as goex but a little hotter.

Hope you dont mind if i ask how much you pay for
lb, i payed 12 bucks. Thanks Boomm  .

I have used it for about six months and find it no worse than geox, and possibly a little cleaner but nothing major. I did have less deviation on my shots through the chrony when I tested it. But the battery in the chrony was going bad so I did not get a lot of shots through it.I got it for $4 a lb less than Goex.

Ive just joined a muzzle club here in mesa az,
they sell goex for 15lb and kik 12lb, i was told
bass pro sells goex for 24lb :shake: ( what a rip off)so i think i got a good deal :hatsoff: .
Boomm.

Been using KIK for a couple of years now, both FFg and FFFg. I love it, falls between Goex and Swiss.

Swampy , I have heard something bad about Kik powder! I heard that the company that makes it has gone bankrupt. And what there is in stock will be the last of it! :hmm: :hmm:

I tried it and liked it very much. I bought it because I was stupid and forgot my goex one time. I bought it and ended up killing a deer that evening. I've used it ever since. Supperstitious I guess. :idunno:

I just took posession of a case of it (wrote a range report under the General Muzzleloading Forum) It was good. Good consistancy, good accuracy, not to dirty. For the price it was GOOD!

What can I say, I like trying different things.
And as far as buying American I had to buy a damn Honda Element because it was made in Tenn. But thats a whole nother story and don't belong here.

Swampy.
That graff powder that you use, is it
real black or sub? could you tell me a bit about it, i have never see it, what like say compare
to goex or swiss or kik, :hmm:
Thanks Boomm.

It's basically an in house brand that really is Wano from over seas just repackaged in the stores own can. It is pretty much the same as Goex, some people say it is dirtier some say cleaner, seems to depend on where your at. My Uncle and I see a difference in fouling and consistancy with Graff being better than Goex on both accounts but as I said others have found the opposite.

From the website,

Product Information
A new formulation of black powder developed by Wano Schwarzpulver of Germany for Graf & Sons utilizing premium grade Alder Charcoal. Alder is one of the most preferred bases for sporting black powder due to it's low residue/fouling characteristics as well as shot to shot, lot to lot consistency

Also they show the older metal cans still on their site but they are in plastic cans now.
