My late cousins had a place like that above Lake of Bays,UP ALONG but they moved down to DOWN ALONG on the shore as they aged. Geat place to live. OLD DOG..

Aluminum hilts say 1900'S forward.
I have, or had, a knife identical to the stag handled one, blade shape and all. Mine was marked Solingen Germany. No other marks That I remember. I’ll have to go looking for it.
