I'm looking for a large caliber percussion pistol that's not rifled so I can have the option to fire shot or round ball ammo. I would prefer something of high quality that's well made.

Pedersoli Howda pistol can be had in smoothbore. Check Dixie Gunworks for other options.

The Tower pistols that I have seen are anything but quality. They are best used as boat anchors. I had a pair and finally got them working but they were a tussle. I swapped them off for pictures of dead presidents.

The Lemat revolver has nine .44 chambers around a 20 gauge smoothbore barrel.
