 Thanks fellars for all the nice comments. I'm kinda partial to ships and nautical stuff, I guess it's 'cause I've spent most of my life within site of the ocean.
Incidently that ship is suposed to be "Old Iron Sides"

Aincha gonna get into trouble in Nova Scotia with a Yankee frigate on your horn? I like it just the same but they take their "Privateers Weekend" pretty seriously around Mahone Bay. I did see a photo of a Royal Navy Horn taken from Guerierre in 1812 published in "Boarders Away, Volume II: Firearms of the Age of Fighting Sail" by William Gilkerson. It is probably a primimg horn for a cannon. Real fancy. It would be a good project for you next year.

That is beautiful Soggy. I always liked tall ships. I guess I get if from my great grandfather who always had some fascinating pictures. He served 4 years in the Danish Navy on a 4 master before immigrating to the U.S.

If you're ever lookin' to sell that beauty (don't know why you would) I'd be mighty interested. Always loved the tall ships, and Old Ironsides was the one that started the relationship.
