Longeye - Here is a how-to on a slightly alternative way to do saddle stitching I wrote up a few years ago. A lot of my students have found this to be helpful as an alternative to the standard stitch method due to various problems. Chuck--thank you for this very helpful and informative tutorial. Your recommendations on thread/needle is something I have been unable to locate elsewhere. Also was not sure how to deal with getting the holes punched through the front, back, and welt without making huge holes. Now I get it.
