Leon, My red Dutchie has now went 28 shots (max) successively without a misfire. I ran out of bullets, so I'm leaving the pyrite alone until the next outing so I can see how many more shots I can garner until the stone needs resharpened or replaced. My hand gonne and I are able to put 7 out of 10 shots in a 4" circle pretty consistantly at 25 paces now. Bookie

Congratulations on the success on both of your gonnes.
The Oldfart, one of my friends, put three shots in a three inch circle at 60 feet when my handgonne was still using cannon fuse. A few weeks back I had him shooting it using the serpentine and matchcord and he couldn't hit diddy, haw haw! He couldn't keep himself from watching the match go into the prime and he would quit aiming.
