Here are a couple from not to long ago

A Rifleman’s knife and sheath I made using a Jeff White 8” hand forged blade and a antler handle from a dropped antler I found on our property.

This is a 18th Century French Patch knife. I made the blade from an old table saw blade. Melted the first one down trying to get it hot enough to harden and had to start over but I liked the end results. This was my first attempt at making a knife.

That’s a dandy little scalper you have there, @Rató:rats . What’s the story behind it?

I like @Banjoman ’s “garden knife,” too.

There are some great knives on this thread! The craftsmanship displayed here is remarkable.

The large knife is over 60 years old, not sure exactly when it was made. The smaller knife is damascus made by Watson. Both have very sharp edges.

Here is another Joe Schell he made for me with a deer leg bone.

Here's my rifleman's knife that I just finished.
So happy with the way it turned out! Used a Mountain Lion's femur bone for the handle. I still need to build an appropriate sheath for it.

Right now I am in the middle of making an 10.5”OAL woods runner / chopper out of D2 carbon with red Macarta liners and Bocoti scales ,leaving the spine on a sharp 90 degree to fire scrap with and a grip choil to chock up on should be nice I hope .HaHa

Here are a couple I recently finished. The scales are scraps I had in the garage. The brass guards were made from a bar from ebay. This sheath turned out well, but my first sheath was a learning experience.

Cocobola wood. Might have been the “red handled trade knife” wood seen in HBC and NWC ledgers
