It was built by Lewis Smith of Johnson City, TN, at least 40 years ago. The lock is by "Doc" Hadaway, barrel is by William Large, it's straight octagonal, 38.5" long, 11/16", 1:56 twist. I shoot .295" or .290" balls with 15 grains 3F Goex, and I've never owned a more accurate rifle. It's a special rifle.arw22lr said:Very nice rifle, Spence. Did you build it?
