If you buy the Pedersoli lock - there is no inletting or changes that need to be made. It's a direct swap.
I've done 2 of them (cap to flint) and it takes less than 30 minutes.... and can be changed back just as easy.

Do the LR RPL locks not fit well? If I got a flintlock for it, at that price, I'd rather go with the higher quality lock. I wonder about a chambers builder's lock...
