Curious about drill bit sizes to use to make loading blocks for .36 and .40 caliber round balls? Do you load the round ball into the loading block patched or un patched? Thanks

RPalmer go to Muzzelloading Links scroll down to Drill Bit Sizes for Loading Blocks, all of them are there I think.

Thanks to everyone for their help in answering my question-very much appreciated

40 cal = 27/64" bit
45 cal = 29/64" bit
50 cal = 1/2 " bit
