Does anyone know the maker of this lock? It needs a frizzen, if not complete replacement. At some point someone has taken a file to it. It's very unreliable I'd like to get as close a replacement as possible. I don't know the maker of the pistol. It was purchased in the early 90s at a gun show in Knoxville. It has lightly etched in the barrel ?C? PM., which might be a previous owner. Thanks! PXL_20210218_021218453.jpgPXL_20210217_235403779.jpgPXL_20210218_021020886~2.jpg

Looks like enough metal left it could be resurfaced to look better, but that would mean heat treating process(?). Did someone run a hacksaw blade through the ball (flint tightening screw) or is that the way it was made?

Thanks for the replies guys.
Bubba I have a couple of CVA percussion guns and the rifle lock plate is very close to this lock. Might see if I can find an old CVA lock and it might fit.
Patch thanks. I googled the Jukars and didn't find one quite like this. The grip is different, and I didn't see any without a ramrod. I think the stock is maple, as opposed to beech or whatever the spanish guns used. The barrel is browned. Of course it could be a reworked Jukar. The barrel looks good with nice rifling so I think it would be a good shooter if I can get it reliable.
Davey I have thought about refacing the frizzen. I was wondering if I could find a replacement. I've seen them for around twenty bucks. Just not sure if they'll fit. The slot in the ball looks too good to be done by hand with a hacksaw, but I really don't know. This is how it came to.me.

With the CVA rifle lock
