Hey, found some kik powder today at a gun show, 30 bucks a can, got two for fifty, saw an owner from another gun shop nearby buying a lot, probably be 50 a can at his place! Never heard of it, took a chance, good stuff or no

I bought some KIK ffg in white metal cans back around 2001 and the grains were a bit soft, but worked well in my flintlocks. There was another lot circa 2010 that was reportedly more dense, and the blackplowder cartridge guys seemed to like it.

KIK powder has been around for quite awhile. I've seen a few reviews and no one cursed it. Kind of GOEX level I believe. I think it should work well enough. If I saw any around I'd buy some to try.

I have 3 cans of KiK powder that I am using up. Many of the BPCR shooter liked it. When it ran out they turned to GOEX Old Eynsford and now that is gone until the new company cranks up.

Shot some KIK ffg Sunday in a couple of smooth bores, I’ve shot the fffg and used the fg in 12 gauge brass shells and 45-70, all seems to be good stuff, a dealer buddy of mine came into a bunch of it and I got cheap, so far I can’t complain about the performance of it.

Damn spell check, sure didn’t mean lol for my post

I look forward to trying it out, have plenty of other powder, probably should have bought more, oh well! Hey, I bought a twenty dollar ticket for ducks unlimited, found out later I won and get to choose a prize, including multiple unmentionables! Good day I think

KIK has been gone for a few years. It was made in Slovenia. Good powder but not $25.00 a pound good!

Yeah GOEX where I live, when bought over-the-counter was like $27.00 a pound. Which is why I started ordering it online or driving down to Back Creek Gun Shop to get it.

Kik is pretty good and I don't think is imported from Slovenia or wherever any longer. On another note, Buffalo Arms and Powder Valley have Schuetzen and Swiss in stock today 2/8/22 for less than $30
