How does the 1851 Navy London (from Uberti) differ from the other 1851 navy models?

Me too:

they are nice. was just wondering what the "London" designation was about since even the standard '51s were in service by the U.S. and British military.

As Smokey Plainsman said, Colt had a factory in London to produce the 1851 Navy for sale there.

The early production used a lot of parts shipped to London from the Colt factory in the US. Much to Colt's dismay, the people there objected strongly to the silver plated brass trigger guard and grip strap commonly used on Colts American pistols and demanded iron parts in these locations.
Colt obliged them by changing the parts to iron.

Not sure when the change happened, this London Navy is No 18104.
