Looking for a period correct case for a long longrifle, any one know who carries them.

To lazy to make it myself.

My longrifle case was made by Tentsmiths in NH. Lined oilcloth. soft and protective. Highly recommended.

I'm with Bigfoot. My Tentsmith's case was relatively cheap for the quality!

I got several canvas cases from Dixie a few years ago.

I made one out of an old blanket, fold in half, trace out the outline and cut and sew. Easy, peasy!

Did you try The Log Cabin Shop in Lodi, Ohio? Also, Dixie Gun Works in Uniontown, Tennessee?
