I found Bambi's brother :what: and he looked good enough to fit in my freezer. Now as soon as I can figure out how to upload a picture yall will get to see him too. Stepped off it was about(105yd) shot with my 54cal Lancaster. Load used {90grn-3f Goex/wonderwad/patched RB}. (2 back vertibray and right lung)dropped him on the spot. For those of you wondering about the power of round balls there it is.

I'll see if pict. works now.lol

Congratulations. Enjoy the meat. :applause:

I have to admit, when i first started bp i looked at the .50 caliber rbs and thought they looked to small to kill a deer. so I used conicals. but after reading more and more about prbs i decided to give it a try. My first year I shot a young of year buck. Dead. The second year I shot a big doe. Ran and then died. This year, I shot another good sized doe at 30-35 yards. Ran and died. I do not doubt prbs any more. At the ranges i shoot deer at, Prbs are plenty. So is .50 caliber. I tried using prb this year(.50 caliber) for bear over bait but didnt even see a bear. Anyways, some good vittles you have there. My father in law will be using the 50 caliber blue ridge flinter i gave him this year

Slowpoke I know what you meen about the asfault jungle.lol I grew up in Lancaster,PA. Baltimore,Philly,Harrisburg area was all my stomping grounds at one time. Pennsy's Flint season is what got me into the RockLocks. Now it's an addiction I've gotten back. Your not very far from SC. 6-10hrs max you can be there. I used to hunt in MD,there is some great hunting just south of Elkton,MD. Contact {MD DOC}.They can guide you to hunting lands and they used to be very helpful to where deer, quail, rabbits and more can be found. Theres some great hunting just outside Baltimore dont miss out. {I apreciate all the compliments from you guy's. I just hope you all can have some of the good luck also.} :master: :master:
