I'm looking to purchase a 1 piece range rod for my sxs pedersoli. I've just got into skeet shooting at the clay range and using my ramrod so much is starting to hurt my hand after 100 shots. Ime looking for one with a good diameter, one piece and only being used for 12ga or 10ga. Needs to be around 30 to 36 inches usable length. I see some are very expensive but I found this one on rice website. Does anyone have any suggestions or any input on this one? I've never owned a range rod.

Make one. Very simple. ½ or ⅝” dowel, add a simple handle of your choice. Cit to length of you bore, and Viola.
Much better, and easier to handle at 30+ inches, than a 5/16” rod that’s 46” long.
Will cost less than the shipping for the Rice one.
Just sayin.

I have them in stock. Both brass and stainless steel. There is one of my long rods for sale in Shooting accessories ads

if your referring to my post about the track rods ..please read it again... they make them any length you want. plus cant pull a wad or ball with a stick
I make them any length unlike Track my handles are epoxyed and pinned on with a steel pin. That's why I use the handles with the metal collar

Here’s selection to look at…

If you own at least a hand drill they are easy to make. Get a 3/8" steel rod at the hardware store and attach a 7/16" rod tip to one end. It's a slip fit. Epoxy and pin it or solder and pin. If you want a bore guide slide it on and then Epoxy and pin your choice of handle.

Rice makes good stuff so I'd guess their range rod is good.

Is it rechargeable? What's the cord for?
Man-oh-man! I have to assume you're serious though.
In the first photo, it appears there is a pure white phone charger cable plugged into the wall; however, the other end of it's visible towards the middle of the counter top. Not attached to the Range Rod...
The braided fabric cord that IS attached to the rod is bunched up near the front of the counter; it is an off-white color (just to distinguish it from the power cord).
If you want a rechargeable Range Rod that is still PC, it can't plug into the grid - gotta to be solar powered !

I really like these from TOW, I have bought three of them in various lengths, pricy but very well made and your grandkid's grand kids can use them. The extensions are nice touch, I prefer not to use a 42" rod in a shorter barrel and use extensions to adjust my rod lengths to the barrel length I am using.
