Looking for a 32 or 36 with fairly short barrel, in decent shape for a shooter so she can learn the mechanics of BP for targets.

"IF" you could ever snag a TC Seneca in .36 or .45 , it was a good fit for my wife (she 5'2") .36 cal easy to shoot and little recoil.

I just picked up a TC Seneca in 36, like new, it was NOT cheap!!!! But my 13 YOA daughter loves it, shoots spray paint cans all day with it, like pops is paying…Good luck on you search.

Yes, I'll come clean: I do want another toy, and I will shoot it, but it really is a tool to get her to come shooting with me more. She can shoot the longer rifle from a rest fine, but offhand is tough.

So shorten the barrel to what you like. But as is, it's a really easily handled gun.

I have a Traditions 32 with 24” barrel. Stock has been reshaped, refinished; wooden under-rib and regular ram rod thimbles attached, pot metal trigger guard replace with steel one - actually a nice looking little gun, perfect starter. It is very accurate with 20 gr. 3f, .015 patch, .310 ball, bees wax and grape seed oil lube. $275 plus shipping.
