Who would you recommend for gunsmith a Palmetto Colt revolving rifle? I picked up one and the timing and lockup is not right on it. I would like to shoot it!
Wonder how you would clean the barrel without a long cleaning/ramrod?Really nice looking rifle. What is the ramrod for?
Definitely would have to treat as any BP rifle though drying might be a tad easier since there’s no plug.Wonder how you would clean the barrel without a long cleaning/ramrod?
And that is what the ramrod you asked about is for.Definitely would have to treat as any BP rifle though drying might be a tad easier since there’s no plug.
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks. And that is what the ramrod you asked about is for.
Did you send your Palmetto Arms CRR to Goons Gun Works by chance? I have one that needs some work, but haven't found someone that would be good to work on it yet.It has the cleaning rod under the barrel. It looks like a regular ramrod, but it's for cleaning.
No, I've sent them two messages but have not recieved a response.Did you send your Palmetto Arms CRR to Goons Gun Works by chance? I have one that needs some work, but haven't found someone that would be good to work on it yet.
Thanks, I will try him.Charlie Hahn. He does revolvers and Sharps. This is just another revolver with a really long barrel.
