Looking for a knife maker

Looking for a riflemans style knife or a good trade style knife and it seems all the custom makers I find on line are not making anything at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

tall pine or two feathers post a lot of there wares in the edged weapons for sale both are fine makers. Slide over there and look a bitt I am sure either one of those could help you out.

Shawn Shropshire of SDS Knifeworks. He has built me several nice knives. He is very good and you may have to wait awhile. He is on Facebook and has a website. He won Forged In Fire a few years ago. How historically accurate do you want it?

If you want it historically correct/accurate, I'm sure you know not to trust vendor descriptions as provenance of historical correctness.
Do your research 1st, consult many photos of originals and the works of makers like Wick Ellerbe and Ken Hamilton, among several others. Then, go looking for someone who makes what you need.

I'll make my recommendation to look for a knife by Scott Summerville. Excellent knives of period and historical design. You will need to do the online search for him as he doesn't have a web site. I have one of his folders. Love it.

Definitely recommend two feathers right here on our own Forrum good honest solid man. Does excellent work

Ben Hoffman with Hoffman Reproductions makes fine historically correct knives and axes. I also like Tim Ridge with Swamp Fox knives as he makes historically correct knives as well.
