Been shooting BP for many years. I have a range membership that allows me to bring guests. Looking for fellow shooters that would be interested to get some range time on the weekends.

Welcome to the Forum, you might consider making a trip down to the Dunn area and meet thirty new muzzleloading friends at the Lafayette Long Rifles Muzzleloading Gun Club. Their range is located off Hwy 82 between Godwin and Dunn. Type in your GPS, 8942 Burnett Road, Dunn, NC. If you are on Facebook, search “Lafayette Long Rifles”.

They are mainly an 18th century Living History Club, but they just acquired land from one of their members to build a new range. Members travel as far away as Greensboro and Fayetteville every month.

When you arrive at that address, look for a field road adjacent to the property with a sign reading, “Warning Private Property”. Turn down that road until you reach the range. Park on the side of the road and walk in.

They normally shoot on the fourth Saturday of the month, except November & December on the second Saturday. They have there-day shoots in January, May, & November.

if you would like to get a monthly newsletter, go to Facebook and connect with them on their page, and submit your email address.

If not on Facebook, you can start a Conversation with me, AKA “PM”. I will forward yours to the Secretary.

Lots of good artisans in the club, horners (powder horn makers), gunmakers, leathersmiths, & knifemakers.
