Hi guys, I have yet to find a proper carriage /sling suitable for queens rangers kit, it needs to hold my bayonet in its sheath and my hand axe. Does anyone here know of a company , or preferably a entrepreneur who makes these?

Thanks
Rob

They have several pics in the sketchbook 56 series of "frogs" for the carriage of hawk and bayonet. I know Log cabin and Track can get these for you.

Well, I'll see if I can hunt that source down. If I can see it, I can more than likely build him one.

I dont have a picture of the carriage, Maybe another forum member from the Queens Rangers on here could post one for me??

It goes around your waist like a belt and has a shoulder strap, and on the left hip has a frog for bayonet and one for a hatchet all done in smooth side out harness leather.
Its nearley like dixie gunworks acoutriments for their officer fusil.

I have had to borrow this kit up to now.

Any help/info would be great.

Rob

He is snowed in under about 18" of snow so he isn't going anywhere.

I just ordered the cartridge box and and frog set from Military Herritage. The frog is available as a separate item. Four other places w/ internet sites, that have them or the style that slides on your belt are G. Gedney Godwin, Pepes Possibles, C&D Jarnagin and North Star West. NSWs an accounterment for their Officers Musket and available as a seperate item. I had a couple of other places but I just took them off my favorites list since I ordered.
