Well, not criticizing you, but, you ARE in Massachusetts, the place that was the cradle of the Revolution and reenacts Lexington and Concord every year yet banned muzzleloading muskets for a while ...
Not quite ... never happened ...

But they did put through a "safety" law in 1998 that required trigger locks on BP arms even to the point that Col. Parker's musket that hung in the State House wore a ... wait for it ... trigger lock.

That provision has since been rescinded.

"a 'safety' law in 1998 that required trigger locks on BP arms"

The Minutemen would have been The Minute-and-a-Half Boys"..."Oh! Wait!...Where'd you put that key?" ("The Redcoats are coming...the Redcoats are coming!")...I know it was hanging right here, along with the key to the ammunition box..." :shocked2: :shocked2: :shake:

God help us.

We have NCOWS posses all over the country and even in other countries. You can check them out online and see if there is a group in your area.

We are a lot of fun and we enjoy the historical part of the guns and gear.

Here is their URL so you can look at what we stand for and how to join or start a posse. http://www.ncows.org/
