I ordered a cap maker by ***edited*** and i ordered 750 RWS caps from another place that never got sent.
I am getting a bitter taste dealing eith all of this bull****.
No wonder this here genre is dying.
I paid 12.00 a hundred for caps 1.5 years ago at a gun show and felt like I got "held up" but I'm feeling better all time now days. The price of caps sure has peeked my interest in flint ignition though except how does one get a percussion revolver to digest flint ?

Please provide some details on your cap transaction. Someone may be able to offer some advice or at least it might help others reading this to avoid problems. We do not know if you paid using a no recourse payment method or any other pertinent information.

Sorry you had some bad deals with scammers online. I'm only replying to suggest some solutions. Cost of everything we need for this sport has gone up. After over 30 years in this I still have no problem getting caps , powder , flints, ball or anything needed. It's been a few years now of short supply. As a serious competitor in BP pistol I was warned long ago of periods of shortages so I always keep a few years of of supplies and cast my own ball. Some BP supply guy are more reputable. Among the best are those who are sellers at the NMLRA championships. "The log cabin shop" for example. Hunting for caps right now is most difficult now but not impossible.Just a hint, I started reinforcing my stock when the modern stuff started to short knowing we were next. All sports hit rough patches. Just ask the fishing guys how much they paid per fish after paying for all that gear, boat, travel cost etc. Our hobby or sport is more reasonable than most...c

How long ago did you order them? I ordered a couple of different items this year that it took them over two weeks before they shipped the items and they had them on hand.

I can buy fresh salmon for ten or fifteen bucks a pound - but I can catch fresh salmon for somewhere around a hundred bucks per pound, not counting my time. Well worth it, I'd say!! :)

OK, BillRob! I'm not sure I'm following you!! You seem rather bright, but I'm not sure what you're trying to say!!
"No second place" said to ask fishing guys how much they pay per fish. I'm making his point - hobbies like ours, shooting, hunting, fishing - they're just expensive! Now that I think about the boat and all the broken gear - I'm not sure a hundred bucks a pound for catching fresh salmon will even cover it!!

Snowmobiling and ATV's are very expensive hobbies now. A pair of good new snowmobiles and gear will now set you back $30,000 to $40,000. A lot of money to ride ten or fifteen days a year. Then you have to have a snowmobile trailer and vehicle to pull it.

So $13 for a tin of caps is nothing compared to the fun you get shooting them.

I still shoot, but sold my snowmobile. It got to the point where the guys I rode with just wanted ride from 1 gin mill to another, or sit on a frozen lake and drink beer all day. Thousands of dollars on equipment as an excuse to drink, no thanks.

Everything has gone up in price, flints cost more, cartridge ammo costs more, cereal costs more, gas.....

If you ordered from 22 reloader it will take a while. I believe he’s a one man operation but you will receive your cap maker.
The caps you ordered from where? How long ago? Be more specific . In Caden you got scammed we need to know who the scammer was.
