Original Penn Rifle Works (1837-1858) .32 Cal rifle with 45.5" barrel. Rifle is in very good + condition overall. No evident repairs, cracks or chips. Bore is in good + shooting condition. Triggers and lock function properly. Asking $850 plus shipping or FTF in central Ohio.

That’s a nice squirrel rifle you have there, MDH. It would be a real hoot to squirrel hunt with that rifle. What is the weight of it?

I hope you can get what you want out of it. With it being a percussion, Id like to have it but the funds are not there.

IMO, and to elaborate on its length, my guess is those may have been best suited for a tall man. However, I’ve loaded my squirrel rifle while laying on the my side on a fairly steep hillside. It was not a problem whatsoever. This tells me that it would not be difficult to load your squirrel rifle by simply leaning it over and placing the buttstock out on an angle. Not the most convenient but it is entirely doable.

Absolutely beautiful. If there were any way I could get this shipped to France without a mass of paperwork and customs charges, I would love to have it.
