I have a Lyman Great Plains Hunter with a 1 in 32 twist barrel. Will a Lyman Great Plains Rifle barrel with 1 in 60 twist drop right in so I can shoot patched round balls? Thanks for any help with this question.

Wiley, I believe it will. I built a Lyman GBR kit with 1-60" twist, so I have the reverse issue. I called Lyman tech support and they said that the 1-32" should drop right in my stock without issue. So you should be able to do the same. I hope that helps.

Yes, but keep in mind most drop in barrels need a little tweeking to "drop-in".

Usually nothing major, a little filing on the "hook" part of the breech so it will fit the tang with out too much upward pressure, and sometimes the wedge key underlugs need to be opened up a bit or bent in with light hammer taps for the key's to fit proper.
