I can only speak for personal LH experience. It makes no whoop to me if a capper is left or right, so long as the stock fit is decent. But there's a huge difference in left and right flinters. Basically I'll never own another RH flinter.
If that sentiment translates to the population as a whole, I can see them dropping the LH cappers first if they need to trim their line. But I'm sure hoping that's not a sign that LH flinters are on the list to be cut eventually, too.
