What is width across flats on a .54 Lyman Great Plains Rifle?
OOOOOps! Dale is getting careless. How about 7/8th. Sorry. Glad you caught that.Dale, are you sure that’s across the flats, and not across the corners? That seems like a mighty hefty barrel for a production muzzleloader.
Just wanted to make sure.

May want to check again. All the Lyman GPRs in 54 caliber I have owned and the ones I currently own have barrels that measure within a few thousands of 15/16” (.937”) across the flats.OOOOOps! Dale is getting careless. How about 7/8th. Sorry. Glad you caught that.
