I tend to agree with BrownBear on handle size, as I like them short when I'm using an ulu just for kitchen duty since a longer handle interferes with the rocking motion used for slicing and dicing.
Ulus also make great skinners for large game and old circular saw blades like you used are just right for heavy duty field use. A slightly larger handle than used on most commonly seen factory-made ulus is just the thing when your hands are all bloody or slimy.
I've seen Alaskan natives use ulus to process slamon at their fish camps and they do great. Unfortunately, using an ulu on fish is a skill I've just never done well with.
In any event, you've made a knife to be proud of for sure.
