Go ahead and vandalize yore grandpappy's transport, then when you can't walk, sit on the porch and hunt from there. :curse:

Congradulations on the hunt! It is very rewarding isn't it. I too took my first Ml'er deer this year with a flinter. I look forward to more hunts in the future.
ATV/SUV/etc. have no reason to be near the hunting area except to retrieve game IMHO, if legal. As an avid dirt biker, there has been more acreage lost by the small percentage of people that refuse to stay on designated trails, than anything else ( oh I forgot the debri/beer cans that can't make it back into the front mounted cooler). Please read again, stay on designated trails. While we are talking off road, let's talk about snowmobiles. I just get totally irate, when I see these clowns chasing deer that are struggling to survive, while a guy on a snowmobile wants to see what the deer are doing. If you really want to see, sure take the sled to within a reasonable distance from the woods and then YOU walk in the deep snow.
