Shooting 50 shot range sessions while using a pan primer that dispenses 3grns 4F at a time means I use 150grns 4F every session.

The bad news is that the regular size pan primer only hold 80-90grns 4F and I have to stop during the session and refill it.

Got one of the larger pan primers from the Possible Shop which holds 230grns and put an end to that aggravation. But I noticed that it also had a slightly larger diameter plunger barrel (which also meters 3F if you wanted to) and it dropped a little too much 4F into the medium sized pan on a TC lock.

So I took a dremel tool with a wafer thin cutting disc, sliced off a measured / calulated amount of it's tip and it works perfectly...dispenses 3grns 4F and easily outlasts a range session without refilling...life is good.

I use a priming horn with one of those 3 grain spouts attached to it. I've never run out of priming powder. :) It is really handy considering I use about 9-12 grains of powder in my big L&R Queen Ann locks per shot.
