making #11 caps, what touse as a binder

i got one reply to use 7 oz of acetate and one tube of duco cement . it willlast a long time

That's what I am trying and so far it's working well. Except all I did was cover the bottom of a 30 ml squeeze bottle with Ducco, and then add the acetone, cap and shake. Small amount in case I messed up. Still have plenty left after making 20 caps. ALL have gone BANG so far...

I mix about 10/1 acetone/duco. Just don’t mix it too thick like 4/1.

just got my cap making kit and read somewhere to mix acetone and duco cement as a binder . is this right?,and what are the ratios to mix . any help is appreciated thanks in advance

I use Duco cement dissolved in acetone
