I was given a Kentucky kit traditions as a covid project from my son in CO I put it together for my grandson🎯 who likes red . So I tried to dress it up, tuning the lock and trigger(repinned through the stock) but never very happy with the lock:doh:well a trip to the gun makers fair and talked to The log cabin Ohio people and an L&R lock latter and came away happy 💥 with great spark and nicer breaking trigger to

old

I did have to remove a lot of wood and make adjustments but over all a much better lock ! The gun always grouped well but the old lock was holding it back . L&R gave good directions and just some fitting made an odd duck into a Very shootable gun:thumb:

I just have the cost of the lock and my time, well worth it to give my Grandson a good starter rifle before he gets one of my custom rifles (it has a 1-66 barrel :thumb: )
