I thought it might be informative and interesting for some who may not have run across this information before to get some idea of what is being talked about when trigger pull weight on match pistols is being discussed.
Mine respectively are.
1. Percussion Yazel- 12 oz.
2. Flint Yazel- 10 oz.
3. Pietta 58 Rem revolver in .44 cal- 10 oz.
4. ROA .44 cal- 17 oz.
All these triggers break clean with no discernible creep that my finger can feel.
Much lighter and my old gnarly finger can't feel the pressure and I loose a measure of trigger control.

My toz Olympic free pistol trigger can be adjusted down to .2 ounces. I generally keep it at 4 oz. My Yazel 10x pistol is about the same.

Yeah, I have a friend with a Hammerelli Free pistol and the trigger will break from it's own weight when tilted up hill.
I cannot even feel a trigger that light and would have no control over it at all.
Ten to twelve ounces is just about right for me if it breaks clean.

For me, it depends on the gun. The revolvers are set to 2 lbs 4 oz, because N-SSA rules require a 2 lb trigger pull. The single-shot pistols run ~8-10 oz.

FWIW, my Morini free pistol is set up for about 4 ounces.

I recently got a Feinwerkbau History No. 1 underhammer target pistol, out of the box the trigger pull was about 3.5 oz. I actually have increased it somewhat via the adjustment mechanism as that was just a bit too light for me...
