I will PM you the contact info for Brian Anderson of VT. He made my Mayflower wheellock, if you saw it.

He makes a ‘snaplock’ matchlock for around $1,200. Others styles could be more or maybe less, usually barrel dependent.

Mr. Anderson made my wheellock as well, and he did a great job. I didn't know he made matchlocks, too. If I had the money right now, I would probably inquire the same. Anyway, I couldn't recommend him enough.

Nick Barber from Michigan makes good ones. He sells a lot of them to European reenactors. I will get you his information.

I know he is older and he hasn’t responded to me from an email sent either, so I’ll try to to find out his status …
Note to all ... Brian Anderson of Bristol, VT has retired and is not making any more complete BP arms. He still LOVES to tinker in his shop and is accepting small jobs like fixing wheelllocks that broke a spring - but no 'big' jobs.

Thanks Flint. Good to know. I think I got his last complete build.

Do you have an examples of his work?
I don't own any of Nick's guns but I have shot one of his matchlocks. I thought the quality was very good. I know that he sells a lot of matchlocks to reinacters in Europe.

That is promising, thanks!
