Does anyone know any builders who make matchlock muskets or arquebuses? I’d like to have a quality one built. I know there are Indian-made guns but I’d rather have something custom. Thanks!
I know he is older and he hasn’t responded to me from an email sent either, so I’ll try to to find out his status …Brian Anderson hasn’t gotten back to me yet, hope he is in good health and doing well.
Do you have an examples of his work?Nick Barber from Michigan makes good ones. He sells a lot of them to European reenactors. I will get you his information.

Note to all ... Brian Anderson of Bristol, VT has retired and is not making any more complete BP arms. He still LOVES to tinker in his shop and is accepting small jobs like fixing wheelllocks that broke a spring - but no 'big' jobs.I know he is older and he hasn’t responded to me from an email sent either, so I’ll try to to find out his status …
Thanks Flint. Good to know. I think I got his last complete build.Note to all ... Brian Anderson of Bristol, VT has retired and is not making any more complete BP arms. He still LOVES to tinker in his shop and is accepting small jobs like fixing wheelllocks that broke a spring - but no 'big' jobs.

I don't own any of Nick's guns but I have shot one of his matchlocks. I thought the quality was very good. I know that he sells a lot of matchlocks to reinacters in Europe.Do you have an examples of his work?
