Axious to see the difference.

Be sure to report back! We're all still learning.

Well, I thought I had some 50 cal felt wads, but as usual I was wrong. Only 54's. Went ahead and shot some conicals out of the 50 carbine...satisfactory.

This morning I went back out with some 54 felties and grabbed a 54 cal out of the safe.

Shot 5 Maxi's with wad and 5 without.

By golly, it did shrink my group size by probably 20% or so.

Gonna use these babies with conicals from now on.

Tnx for the tip :hatsoff:

Now I gotta order some felts in 50 and 45 cal

Good day everyone.

I was watching a guy on 'The YouTube' and he was talking about different lubes he had tried. For pan lubing that is.

The best he had found was equal parts parafin wax and beeswax mixed with Vaseline. Only he didn't say how much Vaseline, and now I can't find the video to check if there was any other info that I had missed.
Any suggestions??
