McHugh rifle pics.

To avoid hijacking the OP's thread I'll post the pics in its own thread. This is a rifle by Michael McHugh. It has a swamped 44" .54cal. barrel. It is a C weight so it is light and handy for its length. The lock is a Davis. It is a version of a Martin Shell rifle of the Dauphin county area. Doesn't appear to have been fired. Barrel is clean and the frizzen still has some browning on it. The touch hole hasn't been drilled, and the sights are stock.

I really like the mello color the brass has taken on, especially the patchbox. It kind of blends with the wood and they compliment eachother at the same time.
